About Us

What do we do?

Because Slow Food operates in 150 countries, its projects, events and activities are highly diverse—from new economic models for sustainable food production to developing networks so farmers, consumers, cooks, academics, and youth and share information and ideas.

Local chapters are the heart of the Slow Food movement. Chapters invite members and friends as well as the greater community to taste, celebrate, learn about, and champion the food and food traditions important to their regions. The Slow Food Sonoma Valley chapter or “convivium” is no exception.

Join Us

Bring a friend and experience our many activities, such as small group tours of city and country facilities that grow, package, market, and serve food that is “good, clean and fair.” Enjoy the group’s social atmosphere. Share expertise, stories, recipes, and even your own harvest at picnics or potlucks.

Becoming a member is easy: Go to www.slowfoodusa.org and click on “Join Us.”

We looking forward to welcoming you to Slow Food Sonoma Valley!
